Carrots

Every day with my lunch, I try to have carrots instead of potato chips. Every day Izzie thinks she likes carrots...

She begs and begs and begs for the carrots..sometimes even cries a little about it..and then..she doesn't like it. Why doesn't she learn? Paul says its because she thinks its a Cheeto..which Izzie apparently does like, along with apples...but still. You'd thinks that after a few weeks she would have put this all together...she hasn't.

Maybe something is wrong with her brain...could have something to do with how she sleeps???

untitled

I can't think of a good title for this post...but I am not going to let that bother me. I just wonder what is going to happen when I have something besides the dog to take pictures of....

Izzie felt that this was a good place for her bed to be...right in the walkway from my office to the living room....

And did you know that my dog has red lips??? All the better for kisses, right???

It's raining mud???

Something really strange is happening here...its raining mud. Seriously! My car was clean, clean, then we went out for an hour and my car is covered in mud. We didn't go through ANY puddles..this is all from the rain..

Paul though the should write Wash Me on the patio table...he'll get the chance to do just that after the rain is over. He'll also get the pleasure of washing my car...

92, Sunny..and March?

The weather here in San Antonio has been fantastic...and so today we went to Fiesta Texas to enjoy some great summer..er..winter weather???

(Warning..there will be no dog pictures in this post...)

Our new camera has this self portrait feature, so we tried it out while waiting for the Scooby Doo ride...in the dark..

Afterwards, we ran into this character...I took some video also, but didn't realize I wouldn't be able to rotate it..so if you want to see it, and turn your head sideways, let me know and I'll send it to you :)

Here are some other pictures from our day out. Actually these were all taken while riding the train...

Paul JUST missed the roller coaster...the riders were hanging upside down right under the Superman - it would have been a good picture. You'll just have to imagine it.

Boring...yeah..so what.

I haven't blogged in a few weeks - mostly because I haven't had much to say and so I have just kept quiet. There haven't been any exiciting trips to the beach or to the rodeo..I haven't even seen a good movie! Actually, the last movie we saw was Vantage Point..and it was ok..but I've advised anyone who I've talked to about it to really wait unitl it comes to cable. I don't know if it's even worth the rental fee.

Anyway, so the only exciting news, and I use exciting very loosely, is that I got a new camera! It is really nice and takes good pictures - of the dog mostly :) - which you'll get a chance to see in a minute. We actually were going to get a Sony cybershot because I'd had such good luck with mine in the past, but while browsing, came across this Olympus. Maybe we were drawn to the fact that it's orange, but when we go to looking at it, it had everything we wanted, including face detection. (OK Julie..get to the point..this is dragging on a bit...) When we looked closer, we realized it is water resistant! and you can take underwater pictures and movies...and you can drop it too and it won't break! Well...we were sold. So watch out..Im back to taking pictures..

...which brings us to these.
